Nestled amongst the mountains just outside of San Diego, Mermaid Valley Vineyard has abundant sunshine and cooling coastal breezes, making it an ideal location to produce fine wines. Founded by Kim and Scott Flinn in 2013, over 3,000 vines were planted in 2014 with the first commercial harvest coming in 2016. Mermaid Valley Vineyard’s climate mirrors the southern Rhone region of France and therefor the majority of the grapes planted are Rhone varietals.
